La fin de saison approche à grand pas et cela commence à paraître! Plusieurs nouveaux joueurs sont venus tentés leur chance de se qualifier pour la finale dimanche dernier alors que 74 personnes se sont inscrites au tournoi. C’est finalement Sou Savann qui a remporté le tournoi après avoir séparé la bourse avec Damon, Sou a remporté la main blind et les points reliés à la première place. Deux mains ont marqué mon attention ce dimanche. La première, qui a permis à Sou d’éliminer trois joueurs sur la table finale. Il reste donc 7 joueurs sur la table, Lilly S. se met all-in avec 9000 jetons sur des blinds 4000-8000, Sou sur le bouton appelle, Eric Gentilletti qui lui aussi a 9000 jetons appelle la mise et Melissa Dufresne sur le big blind appelle le 1000 de plus. Le flop vient avec deux trèfles. Melissa check, Sou check. Le tournant, une dame. Sou mise 10 000, soit le tapis de Melissa qui appelle avec une paire de 10 et une chance de couleur, Sou a la meilleure main avec la paire de dame. La rivière amène une brique et Sou élimine trois joueurs d’un coup.

La seconde a été jouée à trois joueurs qui ont tous poussé all-in après la rivière. Le flop sort 5ca 6t ,Kca, le tournant Kp et la rivière 4ca. Le premier à une séquence avec 87, le deuxième à une couleur à l’as et le troisième fait sa main pleine avec 55. Beaucoup d’action sur cette main. Les gagnants de la semaine sont :

Ce fut une journée mémorable au Baloos, j'ai dû jouer avec beaucoup plus de ruses et de finesses que d'habitudes pour éliminer quelques joueurs coriaces. Damon avait un murail de chine devant lui à la table finale alors que j'avais le 2e meilleur stack. Vue que j'éliminais progressivement les joueurs à la table finale et qu'en plus j'ai gagné une grosse main contre Damon, le chip leader n'avait pas d'autres choix que de faire un deal au risque de tout perdre.
